Fabric Quality (40%)

GSM (Grams per Square Meter): Ensure fabric weight consistency (±5% tolerance).
Shrinkage Test: Max 3% shrinkage after 3 washes.
Color Fastness: Must score 4/5 minimum for wash, rub, and sweat tests.
Pilling Resistance: No pilling after 500 cycles (Martindale test).
Tear & Tensile Strength: Should withstand normal school activity wear-and-tear.

Stitching & Construction (30%)

Seam Strength: No seam slippage (tolerance <0.5 cm).
Stitch Density: Minimum 10–12 stitches per inch.
Thread Quality: Uniform color, high strength, no loose threads.
Button/Zip Strength: Must withstand 20 pulls without breaking.
Hemming & Finishing: Neat, even, and secure edges.

Appearance & Uniformity (20%)

Shade Matching: All pieces must be within ≤ 1.5 tolerance.
Fabric Defects: No holes, stains, or weaving faults (AQL standard 2.5).
Logo/Embroidery: Correct size, position, and thread consistency.
Ironing/Pressing: Smooth, wrinkle-free finish.
Labeling & Size Tags: Correct placement and readability.

Comfort & Safety (10%)

Skin Safety: Fabric free from harmful chemicals (OEKO-TEX Standard 100).
Breathability: Adequate air permeability for long wear.
Flexibility/Stretch: Must allow free movement for children.
Non-Irritation: No sharp edges from seams, labels, or accessories.
Wash Care Compliance: Should retain shape/color after 10 washes.
